Horse congrats card

Hello,

I made this card for a good friend of ours who happens to be the horse riding trainer of my husband. She took our beloved horse for a jumping competition a week ago and won the 2nd place, yay! 🙂

I used a Your Next Stamp horse stamp, the fence is from MFT (Ewe are the best). I coloured the image with my Shinhan alcohol markers and die cut the panel with a stitched square die (SSS). I cut a strip of blue cardstock to match the horse’s reigns and saddle, I used a border die from Pretty Pink Posh. I also die cut the word congrats from Your Next Stamp, and silver heat embossed 2 times for the smooth shiny silver finish and attached to the blue strip with Ranger multi matte medium.

To replicate the ribbon we won on the competition, I die cut a small stitched scalloped circle (MFT) from the same blue cardstock, together with a bow die from Mama Elephant, which will serve as the tails for the ribbon. I silver heat embossed the #2 (Lawn Fawn Clarks’ ABC) on a small stitched circle cut from simple white cardstock. I attached this with foam tape to the blue scalloped circle for added dimension.

Then I glued everything to a white top folding card for an unusual opening. As a finishing touch, I added clear wink of stella shimmer to the hair of the horse and the saddle. I used a Sakura black glaze pen for the eyes and on the hoofs, a silver gel pen on the horse shoes and glossy accent on the saddle.

A mai képeslapom egy kedves barátunknak készült, aki egyben a férjem lovas edzője is és egy hete elindult egy ugróversenyen szeretett lovunkkal, ahol második lett!

Egy Your Next Stamp lovas pecsétet használtam, az akadály egy My Favourite Things nyomdakészletből való. A képet alkoholos filcekkel színeztem ki, majd egy öltésmintás négyzet vágókéssel vágtam ki. Egy bordűr vágókéssel vékony öltésmintás csíkot vágtam kék kartonból, a gratulálunk (Your Next Stamp vágókés) feliratot pedig fehér kartonból. Ezt ezüst domborítóporral 2-szer hődomborítottam, ettől lett olyan szép fényes. Ranger Multi Matte Medium ragasztóval rögzítettem a feliratot a kék csíkhoz.

A versenyen a díj egy szép szalag volt, ezt próbáltam utánozni egy kék csipkés kör és egy masni vágókés száraival. A #2-t egy sima fehér öltésdíszítéses körre pecsételtem Versamark tintával és ezüst porral hődomborítottam, majd 3D-s ragasztóval rögzítettem a kék csipkés körhöz.

Az egészet egy sima fehér felülről nyíló képeslapalaphoz rögzítettem a különleges hatás kedvéért. Végezetül egy kis csillogást adtam a ló sörényének és a nyeregnek, a patákat és a szembogarat fekete glaze pen-nel hangsúlyoztam, és a patkókat ezüst színű zselés tollal húztam át. Végül egy kis glossy accent a nyeregre és kész 🙂

Get well card with digital stamps

This is my very first post on the blog 🙂

One of the friends of my daughter in KG has got chicken pox and I wanted to cheer him up a bit. So I made a card using Elena Roussakis’ digital stamps called Only Ewe. I bought it in her Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/JustMEdigitalstamps), check it out, she has adorable designs.

First I played a bit with the image as I wanted my own “get well soon” sentiment to fit in the tab of the sheep. When it was done, I printed it out, coloured with my alcohol markers (I use Shinhan Touch Twin markers as they are available close to my place and can be refilled). I die cut it with a flag banner from Lawn Fawn and placed it on a striped patterned paper which I cut with the stitched rectangles from Simon Says Stamp. I added this whole panel to a side folding white notecard.

As the finishing touch, I stamped 2 hearts in Lawn fawn Lobster ink and added some shine with my clear wink of stella glitter pen to the tab with the sentiment. I used a red gel pen to add dots to the face of the sheep, Sakura black glaze pen for the eyes, a little glossy accent on the nose and the hearts, and 2 white enamel dots on the top of the banner.

Ez az első blog bejegyzésem 🙂

A lányom egyik ovis barátja bárányhimlős lett és szerettem volna egy kicsit felvidítani egy kedves lappal. Elena Roussakis digitális nyomdáját használtam fel, amit az etsy-n vettem (https://www.etsy.com/shop/JustMEdigitalstamps). Nézzétek meg, nagyon aranyos nyomdái vannak.

Szóval először is játszottam egy kicsit a képpel, mert szerettem volna a bárány táblájába a saját feliratomat beilleszteni. Amikor ez készen volt, kinyomtattam a designt egy fehér kartonra, Shinhan alkoholos filcekkel kiszíneztem, majd egy Lawn Fawn zászlós vágókéssel kivágtam. Ezt felragasztottam egy csíkos kartonra (Aldis tömbből), amit szintén egy öltésmintás téglalapot vágó késsel vágtam ki (Simon Says Stamp, az egyik kedvenc öltésmintás vágókésem).  Mindez egy fehér képeslapalapra került. A felirat köré piros tintával két szívet pecsételtem és a bárányhimlő jeleként piros tollal bepöttyöztem a bárány arcocskáját.

Már csak a befejezés volt hátra, egy kis fekete Sakura glaze pen a szemekre, egy kis glossy accent a bárányka orrára és a szívekre, és egy kis csillám a táblára (Clear wink of stella glitter pen). Végül két fehér fényes díszítő pötty a zászló tetejére és kész.
