Hello again,
Ok I will admit this card I made a few months ago as it is a Mother’s Day one, but I chose another one to give to my mum so I never showed this on the blog. As the October Guest Designer search is still on, I wanted to showcase the paper piecing technique and I really like this card. If we change the sentiment, it can be for any occasion.
First I die cut a pretty patterned paper as my background with a stitched rectangle frame. Then I die cut my PS flowers first from white cardstock, then from green, light pink and dark pink. I paper pieced them together and added some clear shimmer to the petals with Spectrum Noir Shimmer pen.
The sentiment I printed on white cardstock (it says: with love on Mother’s Day) and added the stitched details to the panel. Using the dark pink cardstock I die cut a scalloped border with a PPP die and glued it under the sentiment. A few clear droplets and it is all finished.
I will be back soon with something new 🙂
See you,
Zsofi
