Happy Howlidays

Hello,

I always wanted to make a card for Lawnscaping Challenges as Lawn Fawn is my first love and the reason why I started to be obsessed with card making. I love their stamps and dies, super high quality and fun to craft with. The latest challenge #140 is to use black, purple and another colour, I chose white.

Here is my non-traditional Christmas card for dog lovers:

I stamped, coloured and die cut my images first then started to create my little scene. I used only Lawn Fawn dies this time, I die cut the stitched journaling card once from patterned paper (Doodlebug) and once from white cardstock. Using the stitched hillside border dies I cut two slopes from the white piece and glued them on the patterned one. On the lowest snowbank I stamped my sentiment in purple ink (Altenew) and added the paw print at the end in black. I attached my doggies, embellished them with Spectrum Noir clear shimmer pen and glossy accent.

I die cut a snowflake from a special craft foam which I had in my stash, it has the texture like a towel and looks so pretty in real. I added a heart in the middle cut from purple metallic cardstock, and added glossy accent on top.

For the background I used an MFT paw print background stamp on half of a white piece of cardstock with Lawn Fawn black licorice ink. I die cut the panel with the largest stitched rectangle die. As the middle did not look seamless I added a piece of purple strip to cover the problematic edge 😀 It adds to the design I think. I glued my scene in the middle and the card is ready.

I hope you like it and will pop in again soon.

Have a relaxing weekend,
