Autumn welcome card

Hello All,

Sorry for the silence on the blog, it is due to some health issues, both my kids and me are sick still, and I have to serve first as mommy. I am just popping in today with a quick card I made for a sweet relative of ours who was visiting from Canada. It totally fits the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Autumn.

First I die cut a double stitched rectangle from Bristol Smooth Cardstock and using my MISTI I stamped one of the leaves from the MFT Geometric greenery set 3 times with Versamark and heat embossed it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I used ZIG Clean Color Real Brush markers to colour them. The sentiment is a Paper smooches die, cut 2 times and layered on top of each other tiny offset. The metallic top piece matches the embossing powder perfectly, I was so happy with the result.

I matted my focal panel with dark brown cardstock and using a piece of fun foam I layered it on top of a brown plaid paper from Lawn Fawn. Then this went on a simple white card base. A little sparkle from the Spectrum Noir Shimmer pen on the leaves made the card super special.

I hope you like it and will return soon.

See you,

  1. I had to swing by and tell you how beautiful this card is! What a visionary you are in the way you brought Autumn to the 21st Century! The metallic touches are striking and I love how the geometric lines on the leaves pair so nicely with the lovely loopy sentiment! Wonderful inspiration and I’m so glad you shared your creativity with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
