Hello,
It has been a crazy week an although I was crafting almost every day, I didn’t get to make pics of what I have finished and post them. A lot to catch up with this week 🙂
This weeks challenge on the SSS Monday Challenge blog is Shine Bright like a diamond. I made a few tags for this:
First of all I die cut the base from Bristol smooth cardstock using a wonderful tag die from SSS. I stamped the tree from the new SSS set in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I also stamped the sentiment in Hungarian (YAY, I found one stamp set which has some Hungarian sentiments for Christmas) and heat embossed it too. I used my Misti to make it faster.
Then I coloured the trees with green Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I made it random on the first one, and then realized that it is faster and easier if I colour all the tags at once with the same marker, then change colour. I added a generous amount of Spectrum Noir clear shimmer carefully not to smoosh the colours together when it was all done.
I like to make my tags sturdy, so I die cut the same die from light green cardstock and glued it to the back of the tags. I also die cut a reinforce from some metallic cardstock I have in my stash. I love this one with the liquid platinum embossing powder, they really match nicely in real life. To finish them off, I added some dark green organza ribbon and tied a bow with gold sparkle natural twine.
I wish to show you the other tags I made so far, but I must admit in advance that this is my favourite of all. Hope you like it too.
See you soon,
Zsofi
