Hello Crafters,
Today I brought a colourful and happy Christmas card.
I started with choosing the patterned paper (Reverse Confetti) and cut it to fit an A2 card front. I die cut the Paper Smooches Notebook Basic die 3 times: one light grey and 2 white. I wanted to finish die cutting so I cut the PS Merry Christmas die from metallic red cardstock and also 3 snowflakes from the latest SSS release using glitter papers which matched my background colours.
I stamped the snowmen couple from the PS Cool Dudes stamp set on white cardstock and coloured them with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used a black glaze pen, a Spectrum Noir shimmer pen and glossy accent to emphasize some details. I added also a little gemstone on the hat. Before gluing everything together I used some stitched flourishes from Paper Smooches on the grey Notebook die cut, just to add more interest.
I glued the sentiment on a strip of vellum, which was longer than my cardbase so I could wrap it around and glue it on the back.
I am playing along with this card in the SSS Wednesday Challenge Christmas critters and also uploading it to the PS Guest Designer Search November.
I hope you like my card and will return soon.
See you,
Zsofi
I love your colourful and cheery card!
