Window Christmas Card

Hello,

Happy Monday to everyone. I cannot believe that it is 5th December already, time is flying so fast. I am always amazed at window scene cards, and I thought I will show you one I have made recently with Newton’s Nook Designs naughty kitty (I just love these images and cannot have enough of them).

First I stamped my image on Bristol Smooth Cardstock and coloured them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then I fussy cut it out. I added some clear shimmer with my Spectrum Noir shimmer pen and some glossy accent on the scarf, nose and head band of the snowman. I also used a black glaze pen on the eyes and buttons.

For the background I sponged distress inks on watercolour cardstock and using a Lawn Fawn background die I die cut the starry sky. I backed it with a metallic white cardstock for some extra shine.

Then I took another piece of watercolour cardstock and using a brick stencil I applied some grey distress ink with a stencil brush for a soft blend. Using a stitched rectangle die and a storybook die from Pretty Pink Posh, I die cut my window and backed it with a piece of acetate.

The sentiment is a Lawn Fawn die, cut from metallic red cardstock. I assembled my window scene using foam tape to have more dimension.

I will play along with this card on the SSS Wednesday Challenge Anything goes and Newtons Nook’s Inky Paws Challenge #38: Color Challenge.

I hope you got inspired and will check on my blog later again,

See you,

Zsofi
