Hello Everyone,
I cannot believe how time flies, it has been so long since my last post. I have been busy with some friend requests and Mother’s Day projects and couldn’t fine the time to blog. I really need to craft a bit every day but life got so busy that I also had to skip a few days, which is always painful 🙂
So, here is a graduation card which was inspired by the current Lawnfawnatics Challenge Black&white and bright.
I started with cutting a strip of black&white polka dotted Lawn Fawn paper and adhered it to an A2 sized white stitched rectangle and then to a top folding white card base. I cut a stitched strip from gold foil cardstock too using the Picket Fence die (my most used die I guess) and glued it on the top of the polka dot piece.
Then I cut the Lawn Fawn tag die from black&white diagonal striped paper and from vellum. On the vellum layer I embossed the congrats sentiment in gold. I die cut the hole reinforce from the polka dot paper too. I layered them together in a way that it is slightly offset. I added some colourful twine and popped it up on the card base with 3D foam tape.
Then I stamped and coloured and die cut the cute fox from the Into the woods stamp set (my all time favourite) and the graduation cap from Hats off to you. I used a bit of gold gel pen on the tassel and glossy accent to make it shiny. I used 3D foam squares to pop it up on the tag.
I wish you enjoyed my card and got inspired. Please return soon for more fun cards.
See you,
Zsofi
