Beach card #2

Hello Again,

Here I am with the second card I made as a memory for our mini holiday.

I used again the Newtons Nook Designs Newton’s Summer Vacation stamp set for the image, coloured with alcohol markers and fussy cut. For the background I die cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with the Mama Elephant La Fayette die and sponged distress inks on both pieces. I spritzed them with water to make the splattered look. When it was dry I stamped the sentiment from the Aloha Newton set with clear embossing ink and white heat embossed it.

When I assembling the card, I used another layer cut from white cardstock of the outer frame to make it more dimensional. I also used the Spectrum Noir shimmer pen on the umbrella and added glossy accent to it and also to the sunglasses.

A few clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finished off my card.

I will submit this to the following challenges: Inky Paws #47 colour challenge, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge (Furry friends), Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Little Critters).

I hope you like my card and will return soon for more inspiration.

Have a nice evening!
