Critter birthday

I am back today with a cute birthday card inspired by the MFT Sketch Challenge #345. This is the sketch:

And this is my card:

Sometimes I love to flip through patterned paper pads to get inspired. This is what happened in this case, I found this pastel striped piece of paper the other day and I wanted to make a card with it. I cut a stripe and matted it with a matching dark blue cardstock piece. I also die cut an aqua pierced circle frame and backed it with white tissue paper for a unique look. It reminds me of the birthday presents 😀

Then I stamped and coloured the images from the MFT Beach bunnies and Happy hippos sets using Copics/Shinhan markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I arranged them on the layout and stamped the sentiment just under using a teal ink.

After the card was assembled, I added a bit of Spectrum Noir shimmer and glossy accents.

I will link this project up to the MFT Sketch Challenge and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge For a kid.

Hope you like my card and will pop in again soon.

See you,
