Background bonanza

Hello Everyone,

I am back today with a card I made for the MFT Camp Create Day 3 Background Bonanza.

Here is my take on the task:

I took a funky MFT stencil I got recently at their retirement sale. I adhered it on a piece of previously inked Bristol Smooth cardstock and applied the same Distress Inks I used before (Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio). When the panel was dry I ran it through the Big Shot machine with a stitched rectangle die from Blueprint 15. I also cut a light blue cardstock with a dotted strip die from the same set.

I wanted to make this a masculine birthday card and I cut the big YOU letters several times from light blue cardstock and once from blue foiled cardstock. I stacked them together and glued them on the dotted strip.

I stamped the sentiment from the coordinating You stamp set in black above the die cut letters. A few enamel dots finished off this simple card.

I hope you like it and will check back soon for more card ideas.

See you,

Zsofi
