It is my second card for the Colour challenge at Lawnfawnatics.
I coloured the cute Easter party critters back in Cairo, so I just had to make a scene for them. I die cut a Party banner from vellum, stamped the sentiment with Stazon ink on the top. I also cut a grassy border from patterned paper and a picket fence from white cardstock.
I adhered the scene, popped up some of the cute images with foam tape. I added some details with a white gel pen, Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen and glossy accents.
I cut a piece of the pretty rainbow paper from the Really Rainbow paper pad to cover the fron of an A2 sized card. I used small drops of liquid glue under the stitching of the vellum banner to hide the adhesive. 2 little mirror enamel dots (Pink and Main) finished it off.
I will upload this project to the Lawnfawnatics #25 challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything goes.
I hope this cute card made you smile and you will pop in again soon.
I am going to bombard you with cheerful cards today as yesterday night I was on a creative peek and made 5 spring/Easter cards. The first one is inspired by the current Lawnfawnatics Challenge #25 Colour Inspiration.
I stamped and coloured several flowers from Lawn Fawn Gleeful gardens and Fairy friends stamp sets, die cut them with their coordinating dies and added a lot of shimmer with my Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen to the petals.
I die cut a stitched rectangle frame from warm grey cardstock and backed it with vellum. I arranged the flowers in rainbow order.
For the background I backed a white Quilted backdrop panel with warm grey cardstock, stamped a sentiment from Fairy friends in black and adhered it to a white top folding card base.
I will link this project up to the Lawnfawnatics Challenge #25, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Inside the box and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything goes.
I hope you like my card and will check back for some more rainbows later.
