You are fintastic

Hello Everyone,

I am popping in today with a card I made for the current Lawnfawnatics Challenge #32.

Lawnfawnatics32_01

I started with creating the background on Bristol Smooth paper using Distress Inks: Broken China, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans. I placed a Waves stencil from Newton’s Nook Design over it and went back with the same colours and also added Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Paste.

Until it was drying I made the frame using the Bayou Backdrop die. I cut it 2 times from Bristol Smooth cardstock and on one of them I sponged Distress inks: Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I adhered them together for more dimension.

Then I stamped the fish images from the Fintastic friends stamp set, coloured with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I also heat embossed the sentiment on vellum with white embossing powder.

I assembled the card and arranged the fish on my little ocean scene. I used liquid glue and 3D foam tape to adhere the fish. I used  bit of glossy accents on their fins an stripes.

I will upload this card to the Lawnfawnatics Challenge #32, Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Summer Fun and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Fun in the sun.

Hope you like my card and will return soon.
