Newton’s Nook Designs September Release – DAY 2

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook Designs September Release. Today we are featuring the new card front stamp called Newton’s Pumpkin Patch. If you love to colour and fond of pumpkins, this set is for you!

For my card today I stamped the image on a white Copic friendly cardstock and coloured it with alcohol markers. I wanted to keep the number of colours used to the minimum so I coloured all my kitties black – could work perfectly for Halloween too!

When I was done, I die cut the coloured sheet with a rectangle die and layered it on a dark grey postage stamp panel (Framework die set).

I did not want to cover up any of the kitties so I black heat embossed the sentiment on the bottom of the card. I embellished the pumpkins with glossy accents and added an extra shine to the kitty noses with a black glaze pen. I added a mustard coloured cardstock mat to it all and adhered it to a white card base.
