Hello everyone,
Happy Halloween to all of you who celebrate! Today I am sharing with you my last card in the Halloween Card Series this year. I enjoyed creating every single project I showed you, and had so many more ideas and stamps to feature, just ran out of time. Next year 😉
Today’s card is special as it comes with an announcement: I am thrilled to join the fabulous Design Team at LDRS Creative as of November! To celebrate this lovely news, I made my last Halloween cards using some goodies from LDRS Creative.
I started with stamping the cute witch from the PolkaDoodles Winne Magic stamp set using LDRS Creative Raven Hybrid on Bristol Smooth cardstock. I used Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers to colour the image. I stamped the sentiment from the SSS Handwritten Halloween stamp set and also some bats in the background.
I used the LDRS Creative Build a card Punkin die set to make a pumpkin shaped card. I die cut the coloured panel with the smaller pumpkin die and inked up the edges with Black Soot distress ink. I did not do any masking, I simply went as close to the image as I could with the ink blending tool.
Then I created the card base from folded white cardstock and the bigger die. I die cut another piece from orange cardstock (one layer only) and adhered it to the card front. I die cut the leaves and swirls from green cardstock and added a bit of shading with my ink blending tool which still had a black ink on it.
I used the small embellishment die to cut a black and white piece, stamped a spider from the SSS stamp set and popped it up on the card. A few added details with a Sakura Glitter pen and a black glaze pen and my cute pumpkin shaped Halloween card is finished.
I will link this up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything goes.
I hope you enjoyed the series and it helped you to get in the Halloween mood. From now on you will see mostly Christmas inspiration here, so if you feel like, just subscribe to make sure you will not miss any of my posts. Thanks for spending the last 9 days with me and I wish to see you soon again!
Happy crafting,
Zsofi
