And now, lets dive in today’s card inspiration. I used the new Sweet Treats stamp set to create this simple design.

I started with stamping some of the treats on a white cardstock top and bottom. I used my Copics to add colour to them. I matted the panel with a slightly bigger black rectangle piece.

Then i stamped the label from the stamp set with Raven black ink and added a sentiment to it from the Wordalicious stamp set using Raven and Four Leaf Hybrid inks. I fussy cut it out and ran a black marker along the edges to make it look perfect.

I chose a green striped patterned paper from the Homemade happiness collection as the background, and also used the back side of it to cut a thin strip to hold the label i created earlier. I added a bit of clear shimmer and glossy accents on the treats and my card is finished.

Easter scene with Pink&Main

Hello Everyone,

I am back with an adorable and simple Easter scene card featuring the newly released Sketched Easter set from Pink and Main.

When I have a cute stamp set and it is hard to choose which images to use on a card, I just stamp and colour them. I used Copic markers to add colour to these little critters an die cut everything with the coordinating dies. I love how nicely the edges are rounded!

As I still could not decide which cuties to use, I sponged some Distress inks on Bristol Smooth cardstock to create a simple background for a spring scene. I used Tumbled glass for the sky and Twisted Citron for the grass. I die cut this panel with the biggest of the Stitched rectangle set 2.

Then the playtime started: I kept arranging the die cut images till I was happy with the result. I adhered everything flat this time, so it is going to be easy to mail out. I also stamped the sentiment in black from the same stamp set.

As a finishing touch I added a bit of clear shimmer to the flowers and glossy accents to the noses and the body of the butterfly. I also used a black glaze pen on the eyes, eyelashes and flower parts.

I hope you liked my card today and got inspired! Till next time, happy crafting!

For my card today I used the new Goody Gumdrops stamp set and stamped the fun gumball machine with Raven Hybrid ink on a white stitched circle I die cut with the Holly Wreath die set. I added colour with my Copic markers and coated the sweets with glossy accent for a shiny look.

Until it was drying I stamped the banner and a sentiment in it from the Wordalicious stamp set using Lantern yellow and Dan-D-Lion Hybrid inks. I fussy cut it out and adhered to the top of the stitched circle.

I cut a piece from the gorgeous Candy Counter paper pad and added 2 scalloped borders to the sides of it before mounting it on a white top folding card base.

I also die cut the word Sweet from metallic pink cardstock and stamped “birthday” from the Wordalicious stamp set with Four leaf Hybrid ink on a small piece of green cardstock to make the sentiment complete.

Pink and Main February Release Sneak Peek – Pretty jars

Hello Everyone,

I am here today with another sneak peek of the February Release from Pink and Main. Today I am showing you a pretty thank you card made with the gorgeous Pretty Jars stamp and die set.

I started with die cutting the smaller jar’s coordinating die from vellum. I usually stamp first and then die cut, but because I wanted the jar to be perfectly aligned, I went the other way. I used black Staz-on ink for stamping and coloured the jar from the back side using Copic markers. Then I stamped the label and the sentiment on white cardstock, coloured it with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I used liquid glue to adhere it to the jar.

I cut a strip of white cardstock and stamped the bouquet from the same stamp set. Coloured it with Copics too, added a bit of clear shimmer to the flowers and glossy accents to the berries. When it was dry, I adhered the jar using tiny drops of liquid glue mostly under the stamped lines to hide the adhesive.

I matted the panel with a yellow gold cardstock and also added two pink scalloped borders before mounting it on a piece of patterned paper. I wanted something greenish to emphasize the fresh feel and I found this diagonal striped one in the Beach Babe paper pad.

As a finishing touch I added 3 little gold glossy dots and added a bit of clear shimmer to the label as well.

I hope you enjoyed all the sneak peeks in the last couple of weeks and you are getting ready with your shopping list. The waiting will be over today as all new products will be available in the shop soon!

Happy shopping and happy crafting,

Zsofi

You have a pizza my heart

Hello Everyone,

I am back today with a funny and very pink love card featuring Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. this project was inspired by the current Lawnfawnatics Color Challenge #46.

I pictured a little pizza scene in my head and looked through my Lawn Fawn stamps to select the right critters. I stamped them from the Pizza my heart, Cheery Christmas and Love letters sets on Bristol Smooth cardstock. I coloured them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Then I used the Outside in stitched scalloped rectangles die on a piece of alcohol inked background (I have a few I created earlier waiting to be used on cards). I used a metallic purple cardstock rectangle as a mat in between the layers.

I also cut grass from metallic gold cardstock with the grassy border die and ran it through again with the same scalloped rectangle to have the right shape.

I white heat embossed the I love you sentiment from the Love letters set on the heart shaped pizza and assembled the card. I used Black Staz-on ink to stamp the sentiment on the top of my scene. When it was done, i adhered it to a white card base.

I hope you liked my card today (even if it is REALLY pink), and will pop in again soon for more inspiration!

Have a lovely Sunday,

Zsofi

Pink and Main February Release Sneak Peek – Breakfast Fun

Hello Everyone,

I am here today with a fun and oh-so-cute card featuring the new Breakfast Fun stamp set. It has a lot of adorable images and fantastic sentiments.

I started with cutting a piece of alcohol marker friendly white cardstock to be a bit smaller than an A2 sized card front in length. Then I arranged a couple of the cute images along with some matching sentiments in my stamp positioner and stamped it with black hybrid ink. I coloured the panel with Copic markers.

I added a thin strip of light green cardstock to a top folding white notecard and stamped “I love you” from the Vertical Greetings stamp set. I added a thin black metallic shimmer cardstock strip and a yellow one under the coloured panel before adhering it to the card base.

As a finishing touch I just added glossy accents to some of the images like the seed of the avocado, the egg yolk or the label of the jam.

I hope you like my card and got inspired. The new release will be available on 20/02, just watch out for more sneak peeks till that time! Happy crafting!

Happy Valentine’s Day – LDRS Creative

Hello Everyone,

This is my second post today. To see my card for the Newton’s Nook Designs February Release, please click here. Today is Valentine’s Day and I brought you a cute love card I made for LDRS Creative.

I love to mix and match stamp sets and this is what I did: on a white die cut rectangle (Eyelet Lace Rectangle die set) i stamped a sentiment and the smallest balloon from the Cloud no.9 stamp set. I am fond of critters and the rabbit-mouse couple from the Happy Fall stamp set are so adorable together. Why not to bring them to a love scene? I used Raven Hybrid ink for my stamping and coloured the images with alcohol markers.

Then I die cut another 2 small rectangles: one black and one from metallic red cardstock. I layered them under the focal panel and adhered them to a wooden patterned paper from the Happy Fall paper pad which I cut to be 4,25*5,5 inches.

I believe that finishing touches can take a simple card to another level, so I used a black and a white gel pen to add some details to the cheeks of the critters, and covered the hearts and balloon with glossy accents. I also scattered some heart shaped and some golden jewels from Studio Katia across the card.

I hope you like this cute Valentine’s Day scene and I inspired you to mix and match your stamps. Until next time, happy crafting! And Happy Valentine’s Day!

Newton’s Nook Designs February Release – Day 4

Hello Everyone,

Today is the last day of the February Release reveals at Newton’s Nook Designs, all new products will be available tomorrow (15/02). We have 2 new mini sets debuting today, Spring pile up and Puppy Pals. Who can resist?

CARD 1.

For my card I played with the background first: I wanted a very cheerful and colourful flower background. The new Bold Blooms stencil is absolutely fabulous. I used Distress Oxide inks directly on a top folding white notecard and a mini dauber to be able to add colours separately to each flower. Removing the stencil is always the fun part, I really like how it turned out!

Then I stamped and coloured the stacked animals using Copic markers. I cut them out with the coordinating die. I love that the die set has an extra Happy Easter sentiment too (I used it on my card for Day 2).

I took a strip of kraft cardstock, stamped the sentiment with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink and adhered a tiny bit of grassy border (Land border dies) on the bottom before gluing the coloured image. I matted it with Guava cardstock (Lawn Fawn) and adhered to the card base.

A bit of glossy accents on the eggs, noses and the beak of the chicken plus the usual black glaze pen on the eyes of the lamb finished off this cheerful card.

CARD 2.

For my second card I went in totally different colour direction: red-blue and black&white. It is so indifferent this way, perfect for both genders. I coloured the cute puppies with Copic markers and after die cutting them with the coordinating dies I adhered them to a white tag (Fancy Edges Tag die set).

While I was at die cutting I cut another tag from dark red cardstock and also an embellishing piece for the top of the tag from blue cardstock. The reinforcer is again red to match the twine i used.

The sentiment I stamped in black on the bottom of the tag and added the little heart above the heads of the puppies. I popped up the tag with 3D foam tape on a checked background paper which was cut to cover the front of an A2 sized card. I did not add any embellishments to this card, only a bit of glossy accents to the noses.

Newton’s Nook Designs February Release – Day 3

Hello Everyone,

We are halfway through the February Release reveals at Newton’s Nook Designs, but not over the cute stamps and dies. Today our Design Team showcases the new kitty set called Newton’s Peeps. I am sure that the Newton fans were waiting eagerly to see what their favourite cat is up to this month:

For my card I stamped and coloured the images with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Then I added glossy accents to the beaks, the bow, emphasized the eyes with a black glaze pen and added some freckles to the kitties’ cheeks with a white gel pen.

To create the background I die cut the postage edge rectangle from the Framewoks die set from Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then used masking tape to cover the edges and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink in a light layer. I used the Bokeh Stencil 1 to add the same ink a bit more heavily for a tone on tone look. Then I took the Bokeh 2 stencil to add Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink and as the last layer i turned the stencil around to add Delicata White shimmer pigment ink. I love how it adds to the layers and gives a very delicate look.

I stamped the sentiment in the middle with blank ink and added a grassy border (Land border die set) to the bottom.

I adhered the critters, some flat and some with 3D foam squares. Finally i matted the scene with a light yellow cardstock before adding it to a side folding white notecard. Such a happy little Easter card, don’t you think?

Newton’s Nook Designs February Release – Day 2

Hello dear friends,

It is Day 2 of the February Release reveals at Newton’s Nook Designs, and i promise you that you will fall in love with the new Woodland Spring stamp set! Ahh..my heart cannot stand the cuteness! Perfect for spring scenes but also great just for a relaxing colouring evening if you like.

For my card I coloured the adorable critters using Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Then adhered them on a strip of kraft cardstock.

I used the Sky border die set to create the scalloped edges from doll pink cardstock. To make it more festive I mounted this piece on a golden foiled patterned paper (Doodlebug Designs). I love how the warmth of the golden shiny paper matches the cuteness of the woodland animals.

I used the smaller stamps from the stamp set to adorn the critters and added a drop of glossy accent to the middle of the flowers and noses. It was hard to resist but no shimmer no extra embellishments this time, i wanted the sweet images to take center stage on their own.

The sentiment is a stacked die cut: i adhered 3 layers of green cardstock sentiments with liquid glue to get a dimensional look. The set which has this die will be revealed soon!
