I am here today with a springy, fresh floral card using Pink and Main goodies which can fit any occasion. And who does not need these cards in their stash?
I started with stamping and colouring one of the pretty bunch of flowers from the Sweet Bouquets stamp set using Copic markers. I cut it out with the coordinating dies and also cut a ribbon which I coloured yellow.
Then I die cut a stitched Arch tag from cream cardstock and a bigger one from dark pink and layered them on top of each other. I stamped the sentiments with Evergreen Bough distress oxide ink on the tag and adhered the floral bouquet.
I was a bit struggling with the background as I wanted some texture, but not too much. First I thought of stenciling but I changed my mind and rather went with a tone on tone die cut panel. I used the Basket Cover die to cut an A2 sized card front from mint cardstock and layered it on a mint card base.
I popped up the tag in the middle of it using 3D foam tape. I added a coat of clear shimmer to the flowers and emphasized some of the details with glossy accents. I also added Glossy Dots in pink and gold as embellishment.
I hope you got inspired today and will indulge in colouring some of these gorgeous floral images. Did you know that there is a Facebook group where you can share your Pink and Main creations? Hope to see your art there!
