Hello Everyone,
Welcome to Day 2 of the March release reveals at Newton’s Nook Designs! If you love flowers, today is your day! We are featuring a new floral stamp called Floral Fringe. So unique!
And there is a matching stand-alone die set, which gets you even more possibilities with this unique design!
All the new products will be available on Friday, 15th March!
For my cards i stamped the flower block with Versafine Onyx black ink onto Bristol Smooth cardstock and used a clear detailed embossing powder (Lawn Fawn) to heat emboss it with my heat gun. I love the shiny black outlines. I also did the same with the sentiments in the middle.
Instead of colouring I decided to go with ink blending: I used several Distress inks to add colour. On the pink card I applied Abandoned Coral, Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron, on the purple one I used Seedless Preserves, Milled Lavender and Evergreen Bough.
Meanwhile it was drying, I die cut the frames using 2 of the dies from the new Frames Squared die set. For each card i cut 2 frames: one white and one from coloured cardstock. I adhered them together and mounted them on top of the floral panel. The card base is a 4.25*4.25 inch square notecard this time.
Of course i needed some finishing touches too: a bit of clear shimmer and glossy accents on the middle of the flowers.

Very nice cards! Instead of coloring the individual flowers you added color in a broader way, and it really looks fantastic! I love the colors you chose, too!
