Hello Everyone,
We are halfway through the March release reveals at Newton’s Nook Designs, but we are not done with cute stamps yet! Today is all about cats, the fun new set is called Newton’s Block Party. I love how versatile a set like this can be! This format is so clever!
And the Frames Squared die set matches this perfectly again.
All new products will be available on Friday, 15/03!
I started with stamping and colouring the bunch of kitties. I kept the colours black&white using grey Copic markers and used colours only for the accessories: bright yellow and blue. When i was done, I cut the panel with my paper trimmer leaving a little white frame.
I also stamped a sentiment in the middle using black ink.
Then i cut a piece of bright blue cardstock slightly wider than the focal panel and reaching through the length of an A2 sized top folding note card.
I also cut a strip of gingham patterned paper (Sunny Studio) and 2 yellow banners using the Frames and flags die set. On the thinner one I stamped another sentiment, and assembled the card.
I added some yellow jewels to the banner and covered some of the party accessories with clear shimmer (Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen) and glossy accents.

Thank you for posting a traditionally sized card with this; so many of the other examples this month are square. The square ones are nice, but they require added postage to mail. Your layout is great, and one I’ll save for later!
