It is my second post today, for my first card please click here.
Although we still have almost a month from the summer holiday, I was longing for some autumn colours. So I grabbed some fun stamps from last year’s Fall release from Pink and Main and created this cutie.
I started with stamping the bear with the pumpkin from the Season of change stamp set and coloured it with Copic markers. To decide on the colours of the scarf, I had to choose the patterned paper I was going to use as the background. I went for a cozy plaid from the Pumpkin spice paper pad.
Then I started die cutting: I cut the image with its coordinating die and also a blue an a dark reddish brown wreath with the Wreath base die. The Hello sentiment I cut from cream cardstock 4 times and stacked them together for dimension.
I cut a piece of vellum to be 3,75×5,5 inches and stamped the Happy Fall sentiment on the bottom with clear embossing ink and heat embossed it with brown embossing powder.
After assembling the card I took a black glaze pen and emphasized the eyes. I also added glossy accents to the pumpkin and the Hello die cut. A few golden jewels finished it off.
I hope you enjoyed this fall project and will come back soon for more inspiration (summery I promise). Please check out the rest of the autumn projects created for this Blog Hop.
