Newton’s Nook Designs November Release – DAY 2

Hello Everyone,

It is Day 2 of the November release reveals at Newton’s Nook Designs and we continue the winter fun with sledging kitties. Newton’s Toboggan will have coordinating dies too and there is also a gorgeous new stencil coming which makes mountain scene making a breeze. All new products will be available on Friday, 15/11!

I started with stamping and colouring the kitties with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

The scene I created directly on a white card base made of Neenah Solar White 110 pounds cardstock. I used a Life Changing brush from Picket Fence Studios to add Salty ocean and Blueprint sketch distress oxide inks on the top and then laid the Mountains stencil on the card base I added a light layer of Black Sooth Distress Oxide ink.

The snowy hills I created with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and spritzed it with Avery Elle Shimmer Spritz for a subtle sparkle.

I heat embossed some snowflakes from the stamp set on the sky in white and added the snowcaps with the help of the Mountains stencil and white texture paste.

The sentiments I stamped on white Speech Bubbles which I cut down to size with the partial die cutting technique. The kitties I popped up with 3D foam squares and added a bit of clear shimmer to their caps and scarves.
