Llama birthday – Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello Everyone,

I am sure you all have a lot of holiday stamps and it is always lovely to find new ways to use them even after the holiday seasons. This is what I was doing with the Llama delivery stamp set from Newton’s Nook Designs: I paired it with non-holiday sets to create this cute birthday card!

I stamped and coloured the llama using Copic markers and cut it out with the coordinating die.

I die cut a tag from kraft cardstock with the Fancy edges tag die and cut the reinforcer an a snowbank from white glitter cardstock.

I popped up the llama with 3D foam tape and added blue twine.

The sentiment I stamped on a stitched white circle from the Loveable llamas set. Perfect match! I adhered it to the tag, I like how it looks hanging off a bit.

For the background I applied Distress Oxide inks lightly with a blending brush on Bristol Smooth cardstock: Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. Then I placed the Confetti stencil on it and went back with the same colours. Before removing the stencil I sprayed it with Avery Elle Shimmer Mist.

When the panl was dry I die cut it with the scalloped rectangle from the Frames and Flags die set, adhered it to a white card base and popped up the tag with 3D foam squares. Super cute, isn’t it?

I hope you enjoyed this idea of stretching your holiday supplies and will pop in again soon for more fun projects!

See you soon,
