Hello Dears,
It is so late here in Hungary but I needed a break from playing board games and lego. I miss crafting but when I feel my mojo is lost, I enjoy simply die cutting. Simon Says Stamp has the most gorgeous dies and I was playing with a couple of snowflakes, a pretty filigree cup and a lovely sentiment. Let me guide you through the process.

First I die cut the SSS Filigree Teacup die from heavy weight white cardstock and backed it with green glitter cardstock. As it does not cut around the cup shape, I used my scissors to cut it out.

Then I die cut the Warm Hugs sentiment from green cardstock 3 times and layered them on top of each other. The shadow die I cut from white cardstock. While I was at die cutting I also made 2 snowflakes with the Daphne snowflakes die using pearlescent white cardstock from my stash.

For the background I used a simple stitched rectangle which I cut from Fog cardstock, I love how it balances the cool tone of the green I chose.

I assembled the card using 3D foam squares behind the cup to make it pop and scattered a few white pearls all around. Such an easy design but still so pretty. I hope you like it!

I am uploading this to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters International Tea Day Challenge and also to SSS Wednesday Challenge Sparkle and Shine.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and you will try to make a fully die cut card too.
See you soon,
Zsofi
