Hello Everyone,
I am back today with a special card which shows you an alternative way how to use the newly release Heartfelt Roses stamp set from Newton’s Nook Designs. Personally I love to colour but sometimes I need something pretty without spending hours just to add colour. Here I show you an idea for this.

I started with die cutting 2 scalloped stitched circles with the Circle Frames dies from Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then I placed the Slimline Masking Circle stencil on it, the gridlines help for perfect centering. I applied a light layer of Worned Lipstick Distress Oxide ink with a blending brush. Before removing the stencil I stamped the Heartfelt Roses stamp over it with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. When I removed the stencil I got 2 beautiful circles of roses out of a heart shaped stamp. Isn’t it cool?

Then I white heat embossed 3 sentiments from the same stamp set on dark pink stitched banners which I cut with the Banner Trio dies.

For the background I chose a patterned paper from the Doodlebug Designs French Kiss paper pad, cut it down to be thinner than an A2 sized card front and matted it with silver glitter cardstock. I used thin foam tape to pop up the circles and the sentiments. Foam tape gives a lot of dimension to a card, I love it! I adorned the roses with Arctyc Breeze pearls from Studio Katia.

I hope you like this unique technique and will give it a try. It works with all the circle stamps too which Newton’s Nook Designs is offering. I love stretching my stamps usage!
See you soon with more fun projects,
Zsofi
