Beary happy birthday – Lawn Fawn

Hello Everyone,

I am popping in to show you the card I made for my father’s birthday which was last week. I used a bunch of stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.

First I stamped the images from Den sweet den, Party animal and Dad+me sets and used my Copics to colour them in. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

For the background I chose patterned papers from the Sunshine Remix paper pad. I wanted a cheerful yet simple design. On the bottom I spelled Papa using the Oliver’s Stitched ABCs die set – I love to personalize the cards I am giving.

I also white heat embossed sentiments on black strips of paper from Birthday Before ‘n Afters and adhered them to the scene at an angle for a playful look.

I finished the card with a black glaze pen on the eyes and noses, a clear shimmer pen on the balloons and glossy accents on the hats and cake. These little details really add a lot to the images.
