Time for coffee – Newton’s Nook Designs

The year is coming to its end and Iam sure we all feel tired and stressed. It is good to remember that we need to take care of ourselves and sometimes – even if for a few minutes – stop and relax. For me a good cup of coffee means a few minutes of break from the daily grind. So today I brought you an adorable kitty-coffee card as a reminder: take time to pour over he good things in life. All stamps, dies and patterned paper I used are from Newton’s Nook Designs.

I started with stamping and colouring the images from Newton’s Antics and Time for coffee. I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers: BG4, BG2, BG1, FS7, FS4, EB5, EB3, IB2, IB1, MG4, MG3, MG1, GT3, GT2, GT1. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies.

I arranged my little scene on a strip of white cardstock measuring 5,5×2,5 inches. I gave it a slightly bigger brown mat and die cut some teal scallops with the Sky border dies to adorn the edges.

The sentiment is from the Time for Coffee stamp set, stamped in teal to match the colour combos I used.

For the background I used a coffee patterned paper from the Coffee House Stories paper pad. As a finishing touch I used clear shimmer on the mugs and coffee maker.
