Hello Everyone,
We celebrate Mother’s Day on the first Sunday in May so it is today! I had the best treat in the morning: a Lego heart and a small letter waited for me in the bedroom when I woke up. My kids put it there at night while I was asleep – I wonder how come they woke up in the middle of the night just to put it there. They are so sweet! The card I brought you today is the one I am giving to my mother. I used stamps and dies from Pretty Pink Posh.

I die cut the Heart Vines cover plate die 3 times from green cardstock and layered them on top of each other.

I stamped a few flower heads and little bees from the Bee friends stamp set and coloured them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers: BG10, BG7, MG3, MG1, GB4, CT3, CT1, IB1. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

On a white card base I lightly blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. I made it lighter towards the middle, where I stamped the Mother’s Day sentiment. I covered it with the heart from the green die cut until I added splatters: water droplets and Finetec Metallic Watercolours in pink and pearl.

After assembling the card, I adhered the bees and flowers and added glossy accents to their centers. I also used a clear shimmer pen on the bees’ wings.

I also added bees inside the card and stamped another sentiment from the Bee Friends stamp set.

I wish you liked my card inspiration today and will check back soon. I share some extra tips on Instagram, so it is worth to check it out. Your support means a lot to me, thank you!
See you soon,
Zsofi
