Hello Everyone,
The schoolyear is coming to an end soon and it is time to make the teachers’ appreciation cards. I came up with a design which is relatively easy to mass produce and involves die cuts only. Let me show you.

I started with die cutting the Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop die from white cardstock. I used a pokey tool to help the small pieces fall out on the upper half diagonal, which will be visible. The lower part will be covered by patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow paper pad.

On the back side of the quilted backdrop I adhered Lawn Fawn Sparkle Cardstock in matching colour.

I added a thin strip of coloured cardstock on top of the patterned paper to make it look more finished. Then I die cut a bunch of flowers with the Lawn Fawn Spring Flowers set in coordinating colour just a lighter tone. I added a bit of shading to the middle with a small blending brush and distress oxide inks.

I cut a few leaves too with the Lawn Fawn Strawberry Patch die set and assembled the card: adhered the leaves to the thin strip of cardstock and then paced 5 flowers on each card.

I embellished each of them with Moonstone pearls from Lucy’s Little Things.

The sentiment is a die cut Scripty Thank you which I die cut from coloured cardstock. If you have time, layer it up as it looks so great when 3D.

Here are the cards one by one. Let me know in the comments which one is your favourite!

I will upload this project to the following challenges: Lawnfawnatics #125 (Dies only) and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Layer it up).
I hope you enjoyed my set of cards today, I really went rainbow again. I will share some extra tips on Instagram so it is worth to check out too.
See you soon,
Zsofi
These are beautiful! Thank you for recognizing teachers. You cannot imagine how weird and challenging these last two years have been for school, students and teachers….

I truly believe that being a teacher is one of the best and most challenging jobs ever. Nothing is like it was before, kids are more challenging too. All my respect goes for those teachers who teach and form little minds whole-heartedly.
