25 Days of Christmas Tags – Heffy Doodle

Hello Everyone,

I am back with a fun set of tags as part of Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event. It is a fun initiative to share with you tag ideas throughout a whole month, focusing on a specific brand each day.

Today is all about Heffy Doodle and I created some classic looking ones, perfect for last minute crafting too.

For the base I used the new Essentials Mini die set which is available individually or part of the Heffy Doodle Die cutting Machine Bundle too and the Heffy Doodle shop. I die cut the cute little tag die from kraft cardstock, 10 times so I could have a bunch of tags at once.

While I was at die cutting I cut some pine trees from olive green cardstock and the tree trunks from dark brown using the Forest Builder die set. I used my mini die cut machine for this, it is so much easier and faster when I am cutting plenty of small parts. I love it!

I assembled the tags using liquid glue. For the sentiment I used the Classic Sentiments stamp set and stamped Merry Christmas with red ink on white cardstock. I cut it down to a very thin strip and adhered them under the trees.

To bring these tags to another level I adorned them with Gold and Scarlet Red Crystals from Studio Katia and added green or red twine to them. Aren’t they lovely?

I hope you enjoyed today’s tag inspiration and will pop in again soon for more holiday fun!

See you,

Zsofi

25 Days of Christmas Tags – Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello Everyone,

I am so excited to be part of the 10th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags event hosted by Tracey McNeely! I love this event, not just because it is jam packed with inspiration but there are amazing Sponsors and prizes to win.

Each day a new brand is in focus, today we are all featuring Newton’s Nook Designs. Here is my tag:

I used the super cute puppy from Christmas puppies, coloured him with Copics and cut him out with the coordinating dies.

Then I die cut the Snow globe shaker frame from white cardstock 3 times, the backing from patterned paper and the bottom from silver metallic cardstock. I used the backing die to cover up the twine which I adhered to the back of the snow globe. In this way there is place for a message and it can work as an ornament too.

The sentiment I die cut from silver sparkle cardstock and adhered it at an angle.

As a finishing touch I covered the present and the scarf with clear shimmer and added glossy accens to the nose and the cany cane. The eyes I made shiny with a black glaze pen. I love how it turned out, I cannot wait to make more!

Make sure to visit Tracey’s blog for more inspiration and I hope you play along!

See you soon with more fun projects!

25 Days of Christmas Tags – Pink and Main

Hello Everyone,

I am back today with another set of cute tags for the 25 days of Christmas tags event by Tracey McNeely. This time we are all showing you tags made with Pink and Main products.

I really love shaped tags and the cute owl on the wreath from the Howlidays stamp/die set was fantastic for this. I stamped it on heavy weight white cardstock, coloured with Copic markers and cut it out with the coordinating die.

I cut another piece and made a fold line a quarter inch from the top. I adhered it to the back of the coloured piece and used my Crop-a-dile to punch a whole and added a golden eyelet.

The sentiment I heat embossed on black cardstock and cut around it with my scissors. After adhering it to the wreath, I used Gold Glitter drops from Nuvo and glossy accents to embellish it. I finished it with chunky red twine from Tonic.

I hope you enjoyed these little ones and will pop in again soon for more inspiration. For details on the 25 days of Christmas tags event please visit Tracey’s blog!

25 Days of Christmas Tags – Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello Everyone,

I am so excited to join the sweet Tracey McNeely this year again in her 25 Days of Christmas tags event! Today we are all featuring stamps and dies from Newton’s Nook Designs. Here is what I created with the cutest deer from Festive Fawns:

I stamped and coloured the critter with Copic markers and cut it out with its coordinating die.

For the tag itself I used the Fancy Edges Tag die set. I cut the base from white cardstock and from patterned paper (Doodlebug). I cut the topper from green cardstock and a snowbank plus the reinforcer from white glitter cardstock. For the snowbank I used the Sea border die set.

After assembling the tags, I white heat embossed the sentiment above the deer.

A couple of white gel pen dots and a bit of glossy accents on the nose and bow made it even cuter. For the berries I used Nuvo drops. The eyes are shining because of the black glaze pen. I finished them with thick green twine from Tonic.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration. If you want to play along, please read the guidelines on Tracey’s blog. There are amazing sponsors!

See you soon with more fun projects!

25 Days of Christmas Tags – Newton’s Nook Designs

25daysofchristmastags

Hello Everyone,

I am so happy to join in Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year. Today is all about Newton’s Nook Designs, so I created these cuties for this awesome event.

TAG 1.

I started with die cutting the base tag from the Fancy Edges Tag die set from patterned paper. I also die cut a white decoration for the bottom using a scalloped edge die from the set. On this I stamped the sentiment from the Holiday Stockings stamp set.

I chose the cute kitty in the box image from the Newton Loves Boxes stamp set as my focal image. I stamped it on alcohol friendly cardstock, coloured in with Copic markers and used the coordinating die to cut it out.

I also die cut 2 pine branches from white glitter cardstock using the Pines and holly die set. I added a white reinforcer to the hole and after I assembled the tag I realised that something is missing. I found the perfect little bow in the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set, which I coloured in red and added to the top of the tag. I finished it off with a chunky white twine.

TAG 2.

I wanted to create something classy too as inspiration for those of you who are not into the cute designs that much.

25daysofxmastags_NND_zsm05IG

I used the Tag times two die set to cut white tags and also black and white ones.

On the white tags, I gold heat embossed different sentiments from the Ornamental wishes stamp set.

I adhered the 2 tags together and added a black reinforcer before embellishing  my tags with either a gold string or black and white twine.
