Happy Mother’s Day!

Hello Everyone,

It is Mother’s Day in Hungary (also my birthday) today and I am popping in to show you the card I made for mum in the name of my kids.

I used the Lawn Fawn Mom and me stamp and die set, coloured the cute images with Copic markers. I made a card base from Bristol Smooth cardstock and sponged some Distress inks on the front and inside as well. I distressed it with water.

I stamped the Sentiments with black Lawn Fawn ink on the front, and also some flowers, hearts and a butterfly using Distress Oxide inks. I added the cute images, embellished them with glossy accents and a black glaze pen. A few iridescent jewels I adhered to the middle of the flowers.

For the inside I used the new Pivot die to create a fun pop up element. I sponged some Distress inks on the outer rectangles of the pop-up and adhered some more images from the same stamp set. In the middle rectangles I placed pics of my kids in LF Mini Picture frames.

I used LF Cole’s ABC to spell “we love you” on the upper part, and left the bottom empty for my message. When it was done, I used a bit of twine to hold the card closed. It looks like a little present in this way.
