Newton’s Nook Designs Cozy Release – Day 2

Hello everyone,

It is Day 2 of Newton’s Nook Designs cozy new release and we are featuring the Cozy Home stamp set and its coordinating dies. Making cozy scenes will be a breeze with these! So versatile!

All new products will be available on 16/11/2023.

I have decided to do a one layer scene with a lot of masking. I made a draft on a piece of typing paper which I used as a guide for the real card. It helped me to figure out which part to stamp first. When I was done with stamping, I removed all the masks and started colouring with Copic markers.

I cut down the scene to be slightly smaller than an A2 sized card front and matted it with black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in the middle with black ink and used glossy accent on some elements to emphasize them, like the mugs , heart, candle etc. I love that some parts are shiny and raised, even though it is a one layer card.

  1. Love your use of color & how it pops off of this pretty card! Your one layer card appears to have a lot of dimension with your great use of masking!
