STAMPtember Exclusive with Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello Everyone,

I am thrilled to take part in Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember event with this adorable exclusive set designed by Newton’s Nook Designs. It is only available at Simon Says Stamp and only while supplies last – so if you like this set it is better to hurry and get it quickly.

For my card I stamped the images and coloured them with Copic markers. I used my scissors to fussy cut them out and ran a black Memento marker on the edges so the little cutting imperfections are not visible. Easy trick but makes the images look more finished.

I knew I wanted to use all the three cuties and they could fit an A2 sized card too, but I am absolutely on a slimline hype now so I used a premade cardbase from Simon Says Stamp. I cut a patterned paper to be slightly smaller than the front panel and die cut a piece of vellum too with the Slimline Frames and Portholes die from Newton’s Nook Designs.

While I was at die cutting I also cut 3 frames from pink cardstock using the Slimline Frames and Windows die set. I layered them on top of each other on the vellum piece. It mutes the background a bit and gives it a soft feel.

I stamped three sentiments on three stitched anners from the Banner Trio die set and adhered each of them under a pocket. I popped up the images with 3D foam squares. I used glossy accents on the noses, a black glaze pen on the eyes and a few satin confetti from Studio Katia in coordinating colours.

I hope you liked my inspiration and will pop in again soon for more fun projects. You can follow me on Instagram too where I share my happy creations.

Until next time, take care of yourself!
