Rainbow of eggs

Hello Everyone,

Easter is approaching fast and I need to make a few cards for my mum’s colleagues. This is the first one in the row, using the cute bunny from the new Neat and Tangled Cottontail cuties set.

I stamped and coloured the bunny and a lot of eggs from the stamp set with Shinhan alcohol markers. I used Spectrum Noir glitter pen on the eggs and glossy accent on the tiny hearts. I die cut them with the coordinating dies. Meanwhile it was drying I die cut the front white panel with a stitched scalloped border die (Pretty Pink Posh), an aqua stitched strip (Lawn Fawn Picket fence), a pink stitched banner (MFT) for the sentiment. I also cut 2 pieces of grass (Clearly Besotted die). From the white panel I die cut a stitched arch and applied Tumbled glass distress ink with a brush for a soft background for my bunny.

Before assembling everything I took a rainbow striped patterned paper (Echo Park) and cut a strip to cover the bottom of my card base.  I used 3D foam tape under the white panel, the bunny and some of the eggs for more dimension. The sentiment I stamped with a pink ink (Altenew) and embellished the flag with light blue enamel dots.

A little white gel pen and black glaze pen on the bunny and my card is finished.

I will submit this to the Little Tangles Rainbow challenge #78, Simon says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Bit’O Green.

I wish you like my colourful springy card and will see you soon for another fun project.

Have a lovely day,

Zsofi
