Hello Everyone,
It is October already and I am sure everyone is into Halloween crafting nowadays, but I wanted to bring you a card today which uses Halloween colours but not a holiday card. This card is my inspiration for you for the current Inky Paws Challenge #56:
Here is my purple-orange birthday card, of course featuring Newton:
I started with stamping some of the kitties on Canson watercolour cardstock from Newton’s Birthday Bash and Newton loves cake sets. I used ZIG Clean Colour Real Brush markers to colour them and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I cut a piece of purple plaid patterned paper (Lawn Fawn) with a die from Pretty Pink Posh and made some black stitched scalloped mat for it. Before adhering it down to a white card base I stamped the sentiment in black in the middle hole. I used 3D foam tape to give the panel some dimension and placed the celebrating kitties in their spots.
A bit of Spectrum Noir shimmer pen and glossy accent on the balloon, candle and cake and on the ribbon made the images more festive. I finished the card wit some purple and black matte enamel dots.
I hope you got inspired to make non-Halloween cards with Halloween colours and will play along with us over at the Inky Paws Challenge. You still have until Friday 6th October to create a project and link it up for a chance to win a 20 USD gift certificate to the NND online store.
I will link this project to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything goes.
Hope to see you soon again,
Have a wonderful week,
Zsofi
