Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – card #1

Hello Everyone,

One of my favourite blog hops is the one organised by Amy Tsuruta for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers. I am a coffee and craft addict, so I always feel the need to make new coffee/cacao cards – this time in winter theme.

My first card uses the brand new Cup of Cocoa stamp and die set from Newton’s Nook Designs. I fell in love with this set at first sight and it was pure pleasure to colour the mugs.

I chose aqua-pink combo, used Copic markers, some clear shimmer, a white gel pen and glossy accents to adorn them.

The background patterned paper is from Doodlebug, the sentiment is from an older Amy Tangerine stamp set – slightly modified from “hugs” to “mugs” with a black pen.

 I cut a peek-a-boo window (Simon Says Stamp die) from kraft cardstock ad layered 2 stitched scalloped white borders on the bottom and the top of it. I used 3D foam tape to adhere it and the mugs too.
