National Coffee Day Blog Hop – Newton’s Nook Designs

Hello Everyone,

Happy National Coffee Day! Today the Newton’s Nook Design Team is hosting a blog hop to celebrate! You can visit all the Design Team Member’s blogs and leave comments for a chance to win! Here is what I created:

I stamped the girl with a few leaves and coffee cups from Pumpkin Latte using a brown Hybrid ink from Scrapbook.com. I coloured everything with Copics using Fall colours. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

I die cut a postage stap die from Frameworks from a lovely Doodlebug patterned paper (Fall Friends). I also die cut the rounded rectangle from Frames and Flags from blue cardstock and a double stitched oval with an MFT die to be my focal point. I used the grass from Land border die set to cut from a green oval so my girl has something to stand on.

I stamped the sentiment above the girl using a teal Catherine Pooler ink.

I used liquid glue and 3D foam squares to assemble the scene and added some orange twine on the top of the card.

I finished it off with some glossy accents on the coffee lids, scarf and rain boots. I love the shiny finish so much! I also used a black glaze pen on the buttons, so they pop!
