Hello Everyone,
I am here today as a Guest Designer for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #451, sponsored by Newton’s Nook Designs. The theme is Back to school.
I cannot believe that in a month time my daughter will start the 2nd grade at school. I know it is not going to be easy at the beginning to get used to studying again, therefore I made a couple of lunch box notes already which I can sneak in next to her sandwich in her box. I wish it will brighten her day and remind her how awesome she is.
I started with stamping an colouring my favourite unicorns from the Newton’s Nook Design Believe in Unicorns stamp set. I used Copic markers, Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen and a bit of stickles on the horns for an even brighter sparkling effect.
I cut the images with the coordinating dies.
I also die cut some white frames with the Frameworks Die set and adhered a piece of vellum to the back of them. I glued the unicorns in place and stamped my sentiments with Staz-on black ink on the vellum.
For the background I used Lawn Fawn Really rainbow patterned papers (my favourite from the pack) and cut it to cover a 4 bar card (3 1/2 x 4 7/8 inches).
As a finishing touch I added a few Crystal Stars from Studio Katia.
I wish you like my mini lunch box notes and you got inspired to play along this fun challenge. All details about the challenge you may read here.
See you soon,
Zsofi
