Hello Everyone,
It is the second day of the Newton’s Nook Designs Winter Release reveals and we continue the winter theme with the fabulous Snowfall Roundabout stamp set. It is so versatile and needs no colouring if you wish but gives space for a ton of techniques! I love it!
It coordinates perfectly with the previously released Circle Frames and Banner Trio dies.
All new products will be available on 20/11!
My card is a clean and simple one this time: I simply white heat embossed the stamp on vellum and cut it with the scalloped circle from the above mentioned die set. It looks gorgeous!
I created a round card base using a circle die from Pink and Main: I die cut the chosen size twice from hot pink cardstock and scored one of them at half an inch from the top. I applied glue on this little flap and adhered it to the other circle. I added a smaller, light pink circle in the middle and added drops of liuid glue behind the sowflakes on the back of the vellum. In this way I could adhere it to the card base and the adhesive is not showing through.
I die cut a flag banner from white cardstock with a Banner Trio die and stamped one of the sentiments in pink (Catherine Pooler ink). I added 3 layers of 3D foam strips behind the banner an adhered it to the middle of the card.
I used tiny clear sequins in the middle of each snowflake, it makes it so festive and shiny! Like a little gem!
