Newton’s Nook Designs Winter Release – Day 3

Hello Everyone,

We are halfway through the Newton’s Nook Designs Winter Release reveals and we continue the winter theme with another round set: Snowman Roundabout stamp set. It is so cute and could work so well for kids’ crafts as well! I plan to colour these with my son too who is not as crafty as my daughter. All the new products will be available on 20/11.

As all roundabout sets this one also coordinates well with the previously released Circle Frames and Banner Trio dies.

I started with silver heat embossing the snowman stamp on Bristol Smooth cardstock and cut it out with a Circle Frames die. I used my Karin Brush markers for a quick watercolouring: I didn’t add any shading to the snowmen to show you how nice it looks with just a touch of colour!

For the background I chose a purple patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs and used 3D foam tape to pop up the focal panel.

The sentiment I white heat embossed on a purple banner (Banner Trio) and added a very thin strip blue violet cardstock under it before attaching it to the embossed snowmen.
