Wedding Remake – Lawn Fawn

Hello Everyone,

I am popping in today with a card I made in the last minute for Mona Toth’s Lawn Fawn Wedding Challenge on Instagram. She is my crafty best friends and I could not resist playing along. This is my card:

And this is the inspiration I used: a collage I created when we moved in our home in Budapest. It is hanging in our bedroom ever since.

All stamps and dies I used for this card are from Lawn Fawn. I started with creating the little white Stitched rectangles to hold the wedding pics. I used the partial die cutting technique to cut them shorter. Then I stamped the images on each from the following sets using some masking: Bicycle built for you, Screen Time and Mermaid for you. I used a Memento marker to alter the images a little and then I coloured them with Copic markers.

As I was veiled at my wedding day I used the hair of the original characters as the veil. I had a lot of fun trying to give them a different look.

For the background I used woodgrain cardstock and applied Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide with a blending brush. It really resembles our wallpaper which I used as the background of our original frame.

The sentiment I cut form black sparkle cardstock using the Cole’s ABC die set.

After assembling the card, I added little embellishments: silver metallic leaves (Stitched Flower Frame) and little dark grey flowers (Scalloped Treat Box Springhouse Add-on). I added tiny little white pearls in the middle.

As a final touch I used a clear shimmer pen on the veil and glossy accents on the belt. Isn’t it cute?

I hope you enjoyed my wedding remake and will pop in again soon for more inspiration.

See you soon,

Zsofi
